Who do I call for service?

If you need service for your system, please call us at 877.447.4736. In most cases, we can resolve your problem right over the phone. Should you need a technician to come to your home we will be happy to schedule that for you.

How does my billing work?

Siren provides itself as being a green company and has eliminated paper billing. The most common and preferred method of payment is the EZ pay option. Your monthly monitoring service charge is automatically applied to your credit card or is an automatic deduction from your checking account. Your account will be automatically charged on the same day installation took place, or the closest business day. Your payment for the first month's monitoring will be deducted within 7 days of installation. This allows us to get you connected to the monitoring center and local authorities.

I am moving - what do I do?

If you have had your alarm with us for more than 12 months, you are welcome to sell the system with the house. We will be happy to then install a comparable system in your new home with a newly signed monitoring agreement of the same terms as your previous one. If you have had your alarm with us for less than 12 months, we will be happy to move your equipment to your new home - there will just be a $399 charge. This covers our certified technician to come out and remove the system from you old home and then properly reinstall it in your new home.

Can I cancel my agreement with Siren at any time?

Siren has one of the highest customer satisfaction ratings in the country and we hope that you will allow us to protect you and your family for years to come. Because of the high cost of the equipment and the necessary installation procedures to get your home online should you choose to cancel before the term of the agreement is up, you would be required to pay the remaining balance of the agreement in full.

How do I receive discounts on my homeowner’s insurance policy?

You can contact your insurance provider directly and let them know that you have a monitored home security system. The system usually needs to be monitored to receive the discount. Should your insurance provider require verification, simply send them the Homeowners Security Certificate enclosed in your welcome packet. Discounts range from 5% to 20% depending on your provider.

How to work your system

to arm (away)
From your Simon XT panel: press DOORS + WINDOWS then press MOTIONS the panel will speak Doors + Windows on, Motions on, and exit delay begins.
From your Wireless Key Fob:press the LOCK button twice.

 

to arm (stay)
From your Simon XT panel:press DOORS +WINDOWS the panel will speak Doors + Windows on.
From your Wireless Key Fob: press the LOCK button once.

 

to disarm (Off)

from your Simon XT panel: press DISARM and enter your code when the panel displays Enter Code. the panel will speak Disarmed.
From your Wireless Key Fob:press the UNLOCK button once.

 

to Bypass Sensors (to arm with a door or window open)
from your Simon XT panel:attempt to arm, after protest, press DOORS +WINDOWS again.

 

to Initiate a Panic (Alert Emergency Services)
from your Simon XT panel:open panel. press and hold until alarm sound the FIRE, MEDICAL, or POLICE button.
from your Wireless Key Fob:press and hold simultaneously, the LOCK and UNLOCK button.

 

chime (to turn on or off door or window notification)
from your Simon XT panel:open panel, scroll up/down until display shows Chime, then press ENTER scroll up/down to toggle Chime on/off , press ENTER then press STATUS to exit.

 

to change your master code.
from your Simon XT panel:open panel, scroll up/down until display shows System Programming then press ENTER. enter current code, then press enter. Scroll up/down until display shows access codes, press enter. Scroll up/down until display shows Master Code, then press ENTER. enter new code, press ENTER. Then press STATUS 3 times to save and exit.
